I Read Canadian
The I READ CANADIAN DAY is a national day of celebration of Canadian books for young people. The challenge is to "Read Canadian" for 15 minutes on your own, or as a read aloud and to share your experience with family and friends through conversations.

The purpose of this event is to raise awareness of Canadian books and celebrate the richness, diversity and breadth of Canadian literature.
Weeks of February 8-12, and February 22-25, 2021
The Masked Book
One of ten teachers will present a 'Canadian' book (Canadian author, illustrator, or setting) at our morning assembly. The catch is that the book is 'masked' and students need to guess the title of the book being presented. Each teacher will give a number of clues to help students discover which Canadian book is the star of the day. Classes can submit their guess over Teams and the first class to guess correctly gets stickers and class prize.
